A Super Tree House Party!

Well, the day arrived that the tree house/fort was complete! And to celebrate, we had a little party a few weeks ago, Super Hero style. We had our guests bring a little treat, wear their capes, and come play on the tree house as well as make super hero masks. I had bought this foam stuff at Joann's that is super easy to cut out, plus you can buy foam shapes and markers to decorate. So I made some patterns for the masks and got everything together. The turn out was awesome, the kids had a ball, and the company was grand!

Also, Dave and I have been trying to put together a little website and "following" in hopes that maybe some families would hire Dave to build a tree fort for them. The website isn't done yet, but you can find it at http://www.rustictreeforts.weebly.com. So spread the word!

Okay, talk about AMAZING!!! That is seriously every kid's dream - I would've died to have a tree house like that when I was younger! (Shoot, I'd even love to have it now!) I wish so bad we had a tree in our yard that would work for your husband to build us one...but all of our trees are tiny little babies. Maybe someday, in about 10 years. :)

SO FUN! What a great idea to have a party on the tree house and do it superhero style too! Awesome! The boys would have loved it!
