Mother & Son Luau at Eaglecrest

I was pretty impressed that the PTA decided to do something other than a movie day for the Mother & Son activity this year. And even though this looked like it took a lot more time and work, it definitely was more fun than going to a movie. I took all three boys and gave Daddy a break. All three of them had a blast and really enjoyed watching the fire dancers. They even had fun learning the Haka, especially Miles; he got a real kick out of it. They had cotton candy, popsicles, bottled water, Chick-fil-a chicken nuggets on toothpicks, and fresh fruit. They had tables to make gumball leis and something else with giant pixi sticks...not sure what it was because the boys just made off with the pixi sticks and didn't actually do the craft. They also had some little photo booth areas in the hallway, but you were at the mercy of the mom behind you to take the picture for you, otherwise you get a really weird selfie. So we did both. Ha ha! We had a lot of fun and the boys got all sugared up.
