A Little Face Lift

So, I've been trying to paint my cupboards for...oh almost 3 years now. Haven't gotten very far. So because of that, I was waiting to do other things, like pulling all the junk from above the cabinets down and making that look nicer up there, painting the windowsill, and getting a new valence for the window. In my mind I thought, "Okay, once the cabinets are painted, I will do all the other decorating and stuff and it will look fabulous!" Well, I got tired of it looking like crap and decided to do something about it on a day I had an awesome bipolar high. So here's what I did last night from 8pm-1am. And all it really cost were two cans of spray paint and a valence. So, go me! I literally walked around my house and found stuff, spray painted it, pulled out figurines I don't put up because the boys would break them, and voila! It will look so much better once the cabinets are finished, but until then, at least something looks nice.
