Miles is 5 Months & A Beautiful Outing

Miles is 5 Months
Sadly another month has passed and this little chunk is now 5 months old! Time goes entirely too fast, especially when it comes to the really busy months. Luckily I get to spend a lot of time with this little guy which is absolutely fantastic because who wouldn't want to hang out with this handsome little dude?
Miles has been getting bigger and bigger! He eats a lot and loves his solids. His favorite right now is squash. He wakes in the middle of the night if he realizes he doesn't have a binky in his mouth, which isn't exactly fun for Mom and Dad.
Miles has been getting more and more agitated with just staying in one spot, he really wants to move around and follow his brothers. He just loves those two clowns and gets a kick out of their antics. Cruise is especially hilarious to him.

Miles is so much fun to hold and just carry around because he holds on really well and rests his head on your chest. He just molds to whoever is holding him. He loves kisses and tickles. He loves to be entertained and to laugh as often as possible. He has gotten a bit more demanding and so will only give me 30 minute increments to do something until he starts fussing for loves and attention. But he's still pretty easy going and just wants someone to sit and talk to him.
Miles is quite the chatter box and enjoys hearing himself babble and squeal. He sucks on everything and is at that super drool-y stage. He loves to suck on his fingers and tries his hardest to shove his whole fist into his mouth sometimes.
Miles just recently rolled over for the first time! He is getting so strong and is pretty content to do tummy time, just as long as he doesn't have to do it for too long. He is working on sitting up, but still needs support; he does however try his hardest to sit himself up if laid down at an incline.

I can't believe it's been almost half a year! This kid is too much fun!

A Beautiful Outing
Cruise has been sick all week long with a terrible sinus infection, so he's been indoors most of the week which means so have the rest of us. In fact, it even snowed earlier in the week making enjoying the outdoors terribly unattractive. Friday, however, Cruise started to feel a bit better in the afternoon and the weather was just gorgeous out. So we all decided to take a little bike ride to the park and let the kids play for a bit. Miles fell asleep on the way and the boys did awesome staying with us and following directions.
Cruise and Jett got to play and run around, and Dave & I got to enjoy watching them and just relaxing. The sun felt super nice, especially on my vampire white skin.

Miles woke up not too long after we got to the park, so we got to swing and walk him around. He's always happy to experience something new.
Before leaving, Cruise found a button on the ground and immediately identified it as Pete the Cat's. He exclaimed, "Pete the Cat is really REAL!" And he placed it safely into the front pocket of his jeans.
